The Russian media group ProfMedia has denied reports that it plans to sell its TV channels 2×2, MTV Russia and TV3.
The reports, which go back some time but resurfaced earlier this week, said that parties interested in buying the assets included CTC Media and the National Media Group.
ProfMedia is backed by the entrepreneur Vladimir Potanin and officially owned by Interros, one of Russia’s largest investment groups.
It was reported last month that it would be combining its TV assets into one group.
