Polcast Television expects to launch two of three new channels it plans for the Polish market on May 14.
According to Satkurier, they will be Novela TV, which will be available in both SD and HD, and Water Planet.
Novela TV will be distributed via Hot Bird at 13 degrees East and initially free to air, while at this stage it is not known if Water Planet, also distributed via 13 degrees East, will be a free to air or encrypted service.
A company named Delegata will be responsible for the distribution of both channels.
The third channel planned by Polcast Television is believed to be Tele5 HD. Polcast Television is owned by the Media 5 Group, whose other interests include Tele5, Polonia1, Top Shop and CSB TV.
