The leading Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat has launched a new on demand service.
Known as VOD Domowa Wypozyczalnia – na komputer, it gives subscribers access to over 900 titles via their PCs.
The service is provided in conjunction with ipla, the online on demand platform operated by Cyfrowy Polsat’s Redefine.
However, the amount charged per title – PLN4.50 (€1.07) to PLN8 – is 10% less than that by ipla.
Separately, Cyfrowy Polsat has rebranded its catch-up service Programy Online.
The service provides content from 26 channels including Polsat, Polsat Sport, National Geographic Channel and AXN.
