ACC-BUCHAREST. Romania’s new infrastructure law could be approved in as soon as one or two weeks, according to Valerian Vreme, minister, Ministry of Communications and Information Society (MCSI).
However, it has been held up by what Varujan Pambuccian, MP, IT&C Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, described as essentially “stupidity” rather than opposition.
Broadband TV News understands that the law would have significant implications for Romania’s cable industry, allowing cables to be laid underground and unifying the charges levied on renting infrastructure.
