IBC 2010 – IP411/Hall 5 Stand B09a. Tvinci and PeerTV have announced a partnership that will enable TV platforms, online TV operators and content owners to launch over-the-top video services. The solution combines the PeerStation set-top box with Tvinci’s end-to-end video platform.
“Our PeerStation range of set-top boxes enables the delivery of a vast range of online content direct to the consumer in their home on their television,” said Ronnie Jaegermann, CEO, PeerTV. “Partnering with Tvinci perfectly fits our market vision, making our set-top boxes available as part of a multi-screen offering.”
Tvinci’s complete end-to-end platform is based on its MediaHub (back-end) and MediaStore (front-end) systems which are designed to fit any cross-device OTT requirements.
“This partnership with PeerTV strengthens our commitment to enabling Pay-OTT video content to be delivered across a range of internet-enabled devices, building on our success in web and mobile to provide a consistent consumption experience across any screen, managed by a single Tvinci platform,” said Ido Wiesenberg, co-founder, Tvinci. “We see the living room screen as the main driving force behind the monetization of OTT video.”
The combined solution will be on display in Hall 5 by the two near-neighbours.
