The German cable operator Unitymedia has confirmed rumours that it will add more digital channels to its line-up later this week. Newcomers will include the gay channel Timm TV and the SD version of Anixe.
A total of 14 new channels will be added, including a special ‘kids pack’ offering a Baby TV-type channel and more international services, among them ones from Japanese and Arabic language broadcasters.
The new channels will for the time being only be available in the upgraded areas of the network.
Unitymedia will disclose full details during this week.
