UPC has launched a digital service for its 75,000 cable TV subscribers in the eastern Slovak city of Kosice.
According to the operator, its customers are being offered 80 digital TV channels, including six in HD, along with a “special bonus” of 40 analogue TV channels, free of charge, that can be received on all other TV sets in customers’ homes.
The service also includes a DVR with a hard disk providing up to 90 hours of recording time.
Earlier this month UPC Broadband Slovakia began to offer digital TV service to its MMDS subscribers in Kosice.
