The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT has announced the completion of a project known as TV Mozaika (TV Mosiac).
Implemented together with its partners and co-financed with EU funds, it has been in progress for over two years and has allowed for the rapid expansion of digital TV services in the country. The project has centred on the delivery of interactive content and has encouraged local production.
As a result of the project, subscribers to TEO LT’s Interactive Gala TV IPTV service, which currently has over 30,000 subscribers, will have a much greater viewing choice from 2009.
