Central and Eastern Europe’s ad industry is set to escape the global economic downturn, posting growth of 17.4% this year, according to ZenithOptimedia.
ZenithOptimedia also predicts that Russia will become the world’s seventh largest ad market by 2010, when it will be worth $17.205 billion (€10.897 billion).
In terms of global advertising, TV is set to remain the dominant medium, reaching a value of $213.186 billion in 2010. The internet will be in third place, behind print, with $78.199 billion.
