The Polish public broadcaster TVP has stated that it would like to be the operator of the country’s first DTT multiplex.
Local reports say that the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) has given leading Polish stations a month to submit applications for carriage on the first multiplex, and earlier this week TVP became the first to do so.
UKE’s president Anna Strezynska has already indicated that the multiplex will be given to TVP if no other applications are received.
