The German cable operator KabelBW has said it now has 300,000 broadband internet customers. The company claims this represents a 13% penetration, a record amongst German cable nets.
Ninety five per cent of the KabelBW network is now fully two-way capable. In order to further boost penetration of broadband access and cable telephony, the operator has launched a new marketing campaign with three months subscription for free and a waiver of the connection fee.
kabelBW has three products available, namely CleverKabel 6, CleverKabel 16 and CleverKabel 32. The entry level package costs €9.90 and offers 9 Mbps broadband access and telephony. The top tier costs €49.90 a month with 32 Mbps broadband, unlimited fixed net telephony and a digital TV subscription included.
