Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has granted a licence to the sports channel Orange Sport.
The service, which is due to make its debut this autumn, will be operated by the France Telecom-backed incumbent telco TPSA and principally show matches from the Polish premier football league (Ekstraklasa).
Besides being distributed by TPSA’s IPTV service, Orange Sport will also be carried by TPSA’s DTH platform, also due to make its debut this autumn.
