More data has been published on the broadband market in Hungary.
According to the National Communications Authority (NHH), the number of landline broadband subscriptions in the country stood at 1.4 million as of this April. All told, 766,000, or 3,000 more than the previous month, were ADSL customers.
The total number of subscribers to the four largest cable modem subscribers (UPC, T-Kábel, Fibernet and Digi) meanwhile stood at 460,000 (14,000 more than a month earlier), and as they accounted for around 70% of the cable modem market, the latter amounted to 648,000 (20,000 more than in March).
