ANGA Cable Preview. Mixed Signals, hall 10.2, stand D72
Mixed Signals, an US vendor of digital content monitoring solutions from the source to the edge to cable, satellite and IPTV service providers, will be launching its German presence at the ANGA Cable show.
Mixed Signals has hired Tino Muders as a senior systems consultant based in Germany and responsible for working with clients throughout EMEA.
Muders joins Mixed Signals from BigBand Networks, where he was the company’s director of systems engineering for EMEA. Muders will work closely with another recent addition, Sam Kershaw, a veteran cable and telco sales executive who is heading up Mixed Signals’ EMEA operations.
Hiring key personnel, Mixed Signals is looking to expand its operations into the European market. CEO Eric Conley feels “There is substantial competition for television subscribers in today’s European market, now, more than ever, maintaining both quality of service and experience are crucial to gaining and retaining customers”.
According to Mixed Signals, its Sentry product continuously detects anomalies across hundreds of services, enabling the quick identification and repair of errors that degrade quality, such as video freeze, video black, macro-blocking and loss of audio. These comprise the majority of subscriber complaints and are undetectable with traditional monitoring equipment.
Additionally, Sentry’s historical database enables faster diagnosis of complex, recurring errors.
