SES has posted a net profit of €120.9 million for Q1 2007, or 24% more than in the corresponding period last year.
At the same time, its recurring revenue (a measure that removes currency exchange effects) rose 9.1% year-on-year to €390 million and recurring EBITDA 9.2% to €281 million.
Romain Busch, the company’s president and CEO, said he remains confident the satellite operator will continue to deliver increased revenues despite the failure launch of AMC-14 and continued decline of the US dollar against the euro.
SES now projects revenues in the range of €1,580-1,620 million and EBITDA in the range of €1,086-1,126 million this year.
