The German DVB-H service from Mobile 3.0 will not be available in all parts of the country in time for the start of the Euro 2008 football championship due to the slow licensing process in some states, according to Rudolf Gröger,the company’s president.
Although the issuing of the licenses should be just a formality, not all states have cleared them.
This will result in a slow-down of the introduction of the service. By the end of the year, Mobile 3.0 will reach only 20% of the country instead of the planned 35%.
