The figure was arrived at by Slovenian consultants hired by the Broadcasting Agency (ARD), and they have proposed subsidies for set-top boxes, which will cost viewers €60-80 each.
A pilot DTT project with around 1,000 users will be launched by the end of 2008, with ASO is set for 2012.
