Croatia’s T-Com will launch a new VoIP service known as MAXphone tomorrow (May 2). Initially operating as a pilot project, it will be made available to subscribers this autumn as part of a triple play package. T-Com, which is a division of the Deutsche Telekom-backed incumbent T-HT, launched an IPTV service named MAXtv in September 2006 that offers viewers over 55 TV channels and a video archive of at least 200 movies. Its Internet access service MAXadsl meanwhile ended 2006 with 215,000 subscribers.
