According to data produced by the research and consultancy company Market Links, the TV ad market in Bulgaria amounted to Leva350 million in 2006. BTV, the News Corp.-backed market leader, accounted for 46.1% of the total and Nova TV, which is owned by Greece’s Antenna Group, around 14.3%. Separately, it is reported that a Bulgarian ISP named Networx plans to expand its operations to neighbouring Bulgaria. Networx is based in the city of Ruse and expected to be offering triple play in its home market by the end of the year. (CD)
