Märta Rydbeck, managing director of Eurosport’s Nordic operations, has left the company to join TV4 as its new head of distribution. Rydbeck joined Eurosport’s Paris headquarters in September 1993 with a brief to cover both the Nordic and Polish regions. She moved to Stockholm in January 1996 to head up the Nordic office as the broadcaster extended its reach to include Swedish, Finnish, Danish and Norwegian language versions.
Rydbeck’s place as managing director in Stockholm will be taken by Daniel Ljungh. The 35 year old previously worked for Modern Times Group, holding positions in ZTV, TV3 and MTG New Media. He also worked in London for the management consultants Digiscope and AT Kearney.
