The incumbent Polish telco TPSA says it expects to end 2007 with over 100,000 triple play customers. Its triple play offer, which only made its debut last September, is currently available in only six population centres but will gradually be rolled out to the rest of the country. TPSA also began this year with at least 1.7 million subscribers to its ADSL broadband Internet service Neostrada but with the threat of a fine from the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE), equivalent to 3% of its revenue, for allegedly anti-competitive behaviour. In other developments, the Internet portal Wirtualne Polska has launched a four-channel Internet TV service offering viewers information, business, entertainment and adult programming. Content for the service is being provided by – amongst others – Poland’s leading independent production company ATM Grupa, the thematic channel TV Biznes and Swedish distributor Kamera. UPC Polska has meanwhile announced that it ended 2006 with over 200,000 broadband Internet and 60,000 VoIP subscribers. CD
