WATCH VIDEO. It’s almost the end of the year – and time for YouTube to look back at what people watched the most. During 2010, people watched more than 700 billion YouTube videos, and uploaded more than 13 million hours of video.
That translates into about 2 billion views a day, an increase of 50% compared with last year. Uploads are good for 24 hours of new videos per minute. Impressive figures, but the question of Google makes any money out of the video site remains unanswered. But – advertising turnover had tripled during the year.
Now, over to the best watched videos. In the category official music industry clips, Justin Bieber tops the charts. In the top 10 he holds the #1 spot with Baby, but also has three more entries. Runner up is Sharira with the official FIA 2010 song Waka Waka. Eminem (featuring Rihanna) with Love the Way You Lie.
