Just under half of Poles (44%) believe that the greatest attraction of VOD and PVR is that they allow them to avoid TV advertising, according to a report by PBS DGA produced for the DTH platform Cyfra+.
A further 22% meanwhile find VOD appealing as it ensures they only pay for films they are interested in watching, and 18.7% like the fact the technologies allow them to individually plan their TV viewing.
Some 18.6% of Poles in addition appreciate being able to watch a programme whilst recording another using a PVR.
