The Swiss German language public broadcaster Schweizer Fernsehen (SF) will launch its news channel SF Info over the country’s digital terrestrial network on January 12, 2009.
The channel is the fifth broadcaster available on the SRG multiplex in the German speaking part of the country, the other being the two principal German channels SF1 and SF2, the French language channel TSR 1 and the Italian language TSI 1.
ASO across the whole country was completed on February 25, 2008, with about 8% of all households depending solely on terrestrial reception.
