Portugal Telecom’s pay-TV operator Meo is adding two new channels to its pay-TV offer.
Pre-school channel JimJam, the joint venture between HIT Entertainment and Chellomedia, launches today (November 28) in a Portugal exclusive. The complete schedule is being aired in the Portuguese language. It will be available for all Meo subscribers until December 31, after which it will be offered as part of the thematic packages.
Meo will soon also add the Sci-Fi to its pay-TV offer. The NBC Universal-owned channel is currently aired in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Japan, Spain, among other countries.
Meo currently has around 211,000 subscribers on its IPTV and satellite platforms.
