Dori Media Group has extended its agreement with the Israeli cable platform HOT for the extended carriage of its two Telenovela channels VIVA and VIVA Platina. VIVA, Dori’s main channel with no connection to the MTV Networks’ owned channel, is carried in HOT’s basic package. VIVA Platina is a premium channel and broadcasts on weekends only. Both carriage agreements have been extended until the end of 2008. The terms of the agreement remain materially unchanged.
VIVA is the fourth most popular channel on Israel cable and the second most popular multichannel service.
Last November, Dori extended its agreement for carriage of VIVA and VIVA Platina with the Israeli DTH platform Yes through until 2010. (JC)
