IBC is the world’s most inspiring content and technology event. It draws together the global media, entertainment and technology industry for a compelling live experience that enables every attendee to gain critical insights, share expertise and unlock business opportunities.

Created ‘by the industry, for the industry’ – a principle established on its founding in 1967 that carries through to today – IBC has continued to evolve with each new trend and technology over its 55-year history. Attracting representatives from 24 countries in its first year, IBC now welcomes exhibitors, speakers and visitors from more than 170 nations.

Each year, the show drives thought leadership, innovation, best practice and diversity across the 250,000-strong global IBC community. Owned by industry organisations IABM, IEEE, IET, Royal Television Society, SCTE and SMPTE, the event offers a full schedule of ground-breaking presentations, panel sessions, workshops, product demos and technology masterclasses. It brings together tens of thousands from across the worldwide media content and technology community to learn, collaborate and network.

More than ever, IBC is sharply focused on empowering exhibitors, speakers and visitors – the whole community – to engage with each other face-to-face as the live, physical show returns to the Amsterdam RAI.

The event encompasses not only a world-class exhibition but a two-day paid-for conference jam-packed with keynotes, discussions and technical papers, as well as the Accelerator Media Innovation Programme, IBC Innovation Awards and Social Impact Awards.
