Stefan Dakovski is Vice President, Distribution and Sales, at HBO Europe; in his current role he oversees the company’s sales operations in Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, the Adria territories and Bulgaria.
Stefan has been with HBO since 2002, initially with HBO Bulgaria, progressing to Head of Operations for the Adria region and Bulgaria, and was appointed to his current position in August 2011.
Prior to joining HBO, he worked for more than six years in theatrical distribution and home video at the Alexandra Group, the biggest movie distributor in Bulgaria.
Stefan is based at the HBO Europe office in Budapest; he is married and has two children.
