Deutsche Telekom’s German TV platform MagentaTV is launching Fußball.TV 1 on 15 April 2024, the first of three dedicated channels for the European Football Championship 2024.
The channel, which all MagentaTV customers can receive at no extra cost, is designed to get viewers in the mood for UEFA Euro 2024 two months before the opening match.
The programme lineup includes up-to-date information, new formats, award-winning sports documentaries and highlights from the history of the European Football Championships, presented by commentators Béla Réthy and Wolff Fuss, among others.
“At MagentaTV, we are deliberately starting the football summer in April,” says Arnim Butzen, Head of TV at Deutsche Telekom. “The whole of Germany is looking forward to the sporting event of the decade and we will be leading up to UEFA Euro 2024 with content-rich and entertaining formats before Germany kicks off against Scotland in Munich on 14 June. Only MagentaTV offers all 51 matches of the tournament live and in UHD quality. Our all-in-one package is therefore the first choice for all football fans.”
