LOVEStv, the free hybrid television platform jointly operated by RTVE, Atresmedia and Mediaset España, has launched an updated version with enhanced functionality.
Run on HbbTV technology LOVEStv allows viewers to watch live or archived content from the last week. There is also a new programme guide.
The redesign has been better adapted to the browsing habits of viewers that have evolved alongside an increased demand for video on demand from connected TV sets. The free catch up service from Spain’s principal TV channels including Restart, which allows viewers to jump to the start of the show.
An updated player will now be compatible with a wider range of televisions and incorporates audio selection and subtitles integrated into the player itself. Recommendation has also improved and there are greater customisation options.
