Insys Video Technologies partners with Bitmovin

May 28, 2023 14.13 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Insys Video Technologies and Bitmovin have partnered to provide clients with an all-in-one solution to stream live content and secure videos with Cloud DRM by integrating Cloud Video Kit and the Bitmovin Player.

Cloud Video Kit, is a tool developed by Insys Video Technologies that makes it simple to prepare video for streaming and transcode video to VOD format with quick deployment, easy scalability, and content protection thanks to Cloud DRM. In line with the Bitmovin partnership, the Cloud Video Kit solution is now integrated with the Bitmovin Player and Analytics. The combination of these two solutions gives the customer access to a multifunctional and simple all-in-one tool, making streaming even easier, enabling new market opportunities. Pre-integrating the Cloud Video Kit into the Bitmovin Player adds video playback and ad support to the feature lists.

Commenting on the partnership, David Rushton, director, EMEA Channel at Bitmovin, said: “Together, Bitmovin and Insys Video Technologies will provide customers with a powerful, all-in-one solution that minimizes complexity, ensuring they can deliver superior viewing experiences to audiences worldwide. We’re incredibly proud to be collaborating with Insys Video Technologies and continue raising the standard of video streaming with innovation-led partnership”.

Piotr Czekala, co-CEO at Insys Video Technologies, added: “The partnership with Bitmovin is an opportunity for Insys Video Technologies to tap into new markets. The integration of our video streaming and transcoding product – Cloud Video Kit, with Bitmovin Player, creates a solution for customers to easily prepare their video content for streaming and secure their video content with Cloud DRM, all in one easy-to-use panel”.

The first collaborative project was the implementation of Bitmovin Player and Analytics integrated with Cloud DRM for the Austrian public broadcaster ORF. Thanks to the Bitmovin Player, ORF can stream content on the widest possible range of device types, ensuring the highest quality and viewer experience. Integration with Cloud DRM ensures the protection of video content from piracy and illegal distribution.
