Tata Elxsi has developed a new Android-based set-top box for the Orbit Showtime Network (OSN).
The all-in-one product combines OSN’s exclusive and curated live TV channels, streaming services, and free-to-air entertainment. Features include advanced content search and discovery.
OSN’s SVP Strategy, Devrim Malak, praised Tata Elxsi’s Android TV expertise and their suite of ready-to-deploy solutions, which contributed to the swift launch of the OSNtv Box.
The OSNtv Box is powered by Tata Elxsi’s comprehensive AndroidTV solution suite, which includes a custom operator-tier launcher, Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, and the iCX (intelligent CX) platform. The OTA platform ensures seamless software updates for an improved customer experience, while iCX provides intelligent monitoring, real-time diagnostics, and troubleshooting capabilities.
It was developed in just six months.
