Eutelsat’s broadcast revenues in the third quarter ending March 31 amounted to €157 million, down 10.6% on a year earlier.
In its latest results, the satellite operator says that a slight deterioration compared to Q2 reflected the full effect of the non-renewal of the Digitürk contract, as well as lower revenues in Europe.
It was also underpinned by the effect of sanctions against certain Russian and Iranian channels which mainly impact the second half of FY 2022-23. It also says that revenue in Q4 are expected to be slightly lower than those for Q3.
Eutelsat’s total revenues in the third quarter amounted to €272 million, down 7.5% on a year earlier.
