Vodafone enhances Czech TV service

April 18, 2023 07.34 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Vodafone has enhanced its TV service in the Czech Republic on its third anniversary.

According to the company, its basis of almost 120 TV channels and video library of 2,000 titles has now been supplemented by three thematic packages (Sport, Cinema and Family). The Sport package consists of 15 chanenels including Premier Sport and Nova Sport, while the Cinema package includes the HBO Max video library and Filmbox channels. The Family package offers 17 channels and the Voyo on demand service. Voyo will also now be pre-installed on the Vodafone TV set-top box.

According to Vodafone, its new offer is available from April 17, though viewers can still receive their current one.

Zohar Weitz, Vodafone’s VP for non-business customers, said: “We wanted to offer viewers a richer, yet clearer TV tailored to their preferences, where they can choose the content they want to watch. Those who also have fixed internet with Vodafone will pay only CZK150 per month for Vodafone TV, which includes almost 120 channels and our rich video library. The new content we offer, whether it’s sports or Voyo lovers, makes our packages the most attractive on the market. The whole family can watch TV on up to four devices without the need to connect a set-top box, so our TV services are available on the go”.
