Molotov is making a play for subscribers of Salto, the public-commercial on demand service, which closes today.
It’s offering a free year to subscribers of the soon to be defunct platform.
The offer, which runs until April 2, is restricted to online subscribers of Salto who still held their subscription in February and March, providing they have not been subscribers to Moltov itself in the past year.
Proof will be requested; after 12 months subscribers will be moved to Molotov’s standard 5.99 per month offer.
Launched in 2016, Molotov was founded by former Canal Plus executive Pierre Lescure and Allociné co-founder Jean-David Blanc. The service allows viewing on demand, live and in replay, of television programs from more than 80 channels, including those of DTT.
