The European investment fund Accession Capital Partners (ACP) is in talks to buy Telekom Romania Mobile.
Quoting sources on the financial market, Ziarul Financiar reports that ACP and Telekom and its main shareholder Deutsche Telekom have agreed on a transaction, which is now being discussed by Romania’s Competition Council.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Telekom Romania completed the sale of a 54% stake in its fixed-line business TKR to Orange for €268 million in October 2021.
It has since been trying to also sell its mobile operation, which to date attracted interest from, amongst others, PPF Group.
