Giant Morph promotes launch of Sky Kids channel

February 13, 2023 16.15 Europe/London By Julian Clover

A series of giant sculptures and artworks of iconic children’s characters are on display in London to promote the launch of the new Sky Kids channel, which went live today (Monday).

The promotion features Morphy, Miffy and Where’s Wally, who all feature on the 24/7 channel.

Sky Kids, which launches without commercials, has been curated to follow the rhythm of a child’s day.

The Sky Kids package is available for £6 a month and includes the existing Sky Kinds on demand service. Subscribers to the streaming service NOW can also access the new channel as part of its £9.99 Entertainment Membership.

New Sky Original shows airing on the channel feature a star-studded line-up of narrators including Daisy Haggard (Breeders, Back To Life) in My Friend Misty (April 2023), executive-produced by Fearne Cotton, Marcus Bentley (Big Brother) in Mittens and Pants (February 2023) and Jodie Whitaker (Doctor Who) in Ready, Eddie, Go! (August 2023).

New Sky Original stories will cover topics including climate change, mindfulness and emotional resilience and will join franchise favourites such as Clifford and Trolls: TrollsTopia on the channel.
