Dmitry Plotnikov has been appointed strategy and investment director of Russia’s Gazprom-Media Holding.
In his new role he will develop and implement the strategy and investment programs of the holding in all current and new areas of activity.
Prior to joining Gazprom-Media Holding, Plotnikov worked in management consulting for over 15 years, developing and implementing strategies and managing large-scale transformation programs for the largest Russian and international companies in various sectors of the economy. For the past three years, he has been a senior partner at Strategy Partners, owned by Sberbank. His consulting experience includes working for McKinsey & Company in an office in Philadelphia (USA), where he was a member of the US Mid-Atlantic private equity practice. Plotnikov also worked in the Moscow office of McKinsey & Company, Accenture’s strategic practice and held the position of MD at the Fujifilm representative office in Russia.
Over the years of his professional activity, Plotnikov has been a co-founder of a number of companies, including the consulting company Moscow Consulting Group, the consulting agency MGIMO Eurasian Strategies, and the digital educational platform for children Umnaziya.
