A new agreement with Viaplay has given Telenor unique access to the Premier League.

The Norwegian telco is now able to offer customers access to English top-flight football inside and outside the home.

“Traditionally, customers have had to draw a direct subscription with the broadcaster to access the Premier League on the go,” explains Camilla Amundsen, head of broadband and TV in Telenor. “Our new collaboration with the Viaplay Group makes it easier to be a football-happy T-We customer, whether at home, on the cabin or on the bus.

In addition to five dedicated Premier League channels, V Premium customers have access to the entire film and series archive in the Viaplay app and V Sport channels V Sport +, V Sport 1-3 and V Sport Golf. The package is priced at a monthly NOK 649.

The Premier League is also available through Telenor T-We’s points option.

“For us, it is important to make all content available in one place, with one bill. With Telenor T-We, viewers can easily switch between their favourite TV and streaming services, and now also have access to the Premier League anywhere and on the screen they have available, says Amundsen.

Telenor’s TV and streaming service T-We is available to 550,000 Norwegian households.

V Premium is available on T-We boxes and Telenor’s T-We apps for mobile, tablet and PC.
