Fix&Foxi TV gets ‘Kartoon Genius!’ programme block

December 13, 2022 08.00 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

The entry of the US children’s entertainment company Genius Brands International as the main shareholder in German broadcaster Your Family Entertainment (YFE) is now also reflected in the programming of Fix&Foxi TV.

The free-TV children’s channel operated by YFE is now showing a ‘Kartoon Genius!’ programme block with content from Genius Brands International. The section features exclusive series such as Rainbow Rangers (environmental protection) and Llama Llama (social and family values), followed next year by Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab (science for kids) and Stan Lee’s Superhero Kindergarten with Arnold Schwarzenegger (health, exercise and nutrition).

“We’re pleased to advance on close cooperation with Genius Brands International and add Genius’ valuable and entertaining programming to our channels. The new ‘Kartoon Genius!’ programme blocks will include first-class, exclusive cartoon content, which we can now offer on Fix&Foxi TV for the first time and just in time for the holidays,” said Bernd Wendeln, Chief Operating Officer and Management Board member at YFE.

In the Middle East and Africa as well as in Latin America the ‘Kartoon Genius!’ programme blocks launched on Fix&Foxi TV earlier this year.
