Network4 (Digital Media and Communications), which describes itself as the largest independent media and TV group in Hungary, has announced a number of important changes to its services.
Quoting a statement supplied by the group, Media1 reports that they include the renaming of its streaming platform Arena4+ as Net4+.
This is because following the launch of its new sports channel Match4 alongside Arena4, along with the acquisition of more sports rights, the name Arena4+ would have been misleading.
Furthermore, the streaming platform includes not only the programmes of Arena4, but also Match4, as well as other exclusive content.
Another change will see the Network4 website come under the Net4 brand. It will provide prominent places for – amongst others – the entertainment channels TV4, Story4, Galaxy4 and Film4.
Commenting on the changes, Attila Varga, Network4’s online content development and communications director, said that as a first step its Net4+ app has been released for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, and the same is on the way for AppleTV and Android-based media boxes and smart TVs.
