The Polish media group MWE Networks plans to enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange in early 2023.
Quoting its founder and owner Michal Winnicki, Wirtualne Media reports that the move will be undertaken through a reverse acquisition or SPAC.
It adds that MWE Networks’ strategy assumes further consolidation in the TMT sector. To that effect, it is already in advanced negotiations to buy cable operators and ISPs.
Significantly, soon after its first acquisitions the company also plans to launch an OTT platform.
Broadband TV News notes that MWE Networks currently operates 12 thematic TV channels.
