A former NBCUniversal executive will head MFE-MediaForEurope’s new office in Munich.
Katharina Behrends spent 15 years at NBCUniversal Networks, where she was responsible for the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Eastern Europe and Benelux region overseeing TV production, pay-TV and streaming.

In March, MFE-MediaForEurope passed the 25% ownership threshold in ProSiebenSat.1.
The company, controlled by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, was already the largest shareholder in the German broadcaster.
