The channels Digi Sport 1, Digi Sport 2 and Digi Sport 3 will end broadcasts this Friday, August.
However, reports Media 1, the first two will be replaced by Network4’s sports channels, namely Arena4 and the newly launched Match4.
There will also be more channel changes at Digi Kft, which is now owned by Hungary’s 4iG, on September 1. These will see the operator drop the channels Digi World, Digi Life, Digi Animal World, H!t Music Channel and FilmNow dropped from the line-up. Another channel named Erd TV will also disappear, in this instance because it will stop linear broadcasting and only produce programmes for YouTube.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Digi Communications completed the sale of its Hungarian assets to the IT and telecom company 4iG at the beginning of this year.
