The Ukrainian incumbent Ukrtelecom is introducing the OTT service Megogo to its internet subscribers.
In a statement, it says that the process started at the beginning of this month and will last for several days.
It adds that Megogo will be offered free of charge up until August 20, after which it will cost UAH99 (€2.6) a month including VAT.
Subscribers can access the service via the MAG 255 set-top box. Those using other devices, such as an Android set-top box, smart TV, smartphone or laptop), will have to download the Megogo application.
Broadband TV News notes that Megogo is replacing its former competitor Oll.TV in Ukrtelekom’s offer.
Oll.tv was part of Media Group Ukraine (MGU) and ceased operations on July 22.
