Orange ended Q2 with a total of 970,000 TV subscribers in Poland.
This, according to the company in its latest set of results, was down from 1,018,000 in the same period last year. Of the total, 768,000 (642,000) were IPTV and 203,000 (376,000) DTH, with 843,000 (879,000) being B2C convergent.
Orange Polska’s total revenues in Q2 amounted to PLN3,055 million (€639 million), up from PLN2,954 million a year earlier. Its EBITDAaL was PLN798 million (PLN756 million) and net income PLN243 million (PLN116 million).
Meanwhile in Romania, Orange ended Q2 with 1.5 million cable and satellite TV subscribers. Its turnover in the quarter amounted to €381 million, while in the first half of the year it stood at €766 million.
Broadband TV News notes that since earlier this year Orange’s figures include Telekom Romania’s fixed-line business, which it acquired.
In Slovakia, according to a report in Zive, Orange’s TV subscriber figure increased from 148,000 to 187,000 in the year to June 30.
