The M7 Group-owned operator Skylink has confirmed that its pay-DTT platform Antena+ will close in a few weeks.
Speaking to Digital Rozhlas, Jaromir Glisnik, a member of the board at M7 Group, said that it is fine-tuning the final shutdown of the service.
He also confirmed a previous report that the number of subscribers to Antena+ was in the hundreds.
Antena+ was launched in October 2020 and covers Prague and Central Bohemia. It is distributed by the regional network 4 operated by Prague Digital TV and is also available in DVB-T2 multiplex 24.
Broadband TV News notes that Antena+ is to date the only pay-DTT service that has operated in the Czech Republic.
Terrestrial TV services remain very popular in the country and all are free to receive.
