The Warner Bros. Discovery channel has secured distribution on Magyar Telekom’s TV service.
Media1 reports that the Hungarian incumbent will offer the channel temporarily to all its IPTV, Telekom TV and multiscreen subscribers, except those receiving the public package, during May.
However, from next month it will be available on new Telekom TV packages launched on April 13, except the public package and to S-package subscribers.
According to Media1, news of HGTV’s launch was announced Alexandru Silanovici, commercial and business development director of Warner Bros. Discovery in Romania and Hungary, and Orsolya Haász, head of content acquisition at Magyar Telekom.
