The Hungarian incumbent Magyar Telekom ended the first quarter with 1,256,161 TV subscribers in its home market, or 6% more than a year earlier.
Meanwhile, TV ARPU rose by 1.8% over the same period to HUF3,382 (€8.89).
In North Macedonia, its subsidiary ended Q1 with 145,949 TV subscribers (+1.8%), with TV revenues in the quarter amounting to HUF1,429 million (+4.8%).
Magyar Telekom had revenues of HUF175,864 million (+8.4%) and EBITDA of HUF62,146 million (+23.8%) in Q1, while its net profit was HUF19,342 million (+92.2%).
TV revenues were up 7.7% year-on-year to HUF14.9 billion thanks to further expansion of the IPTV base in both countries.
