Bridgerton is most-watched Netflix series

Season 2 of Bridgerton has broken the record for the most-watched title in a week in the Netflix library of English TV shows.

A total of 251.74 million hours were viewed in the week of March 28, according to data released by the streamer.

Squid Game holds the overall record with 571.76 million hours viewed.

The Shondaland produced series was also in the Top 10 in 93 countries, while season 1 climbed to second place with 53.02 million hours viewed, knocking baking competition series Is It Cake? Into third place with 26.51 million hours viewed.

The Adam Project stayed top of the English Films list with 17.72 million hours viewed and continued to steadily move up the Most Popular list, landing at number 5 with 227.22 million hours viewed.

Korean series once again came through; four weeks after its debut Business Proposal remained in the #1 spot with 32.52 million hours viewed.
